Buddy Boy and The Bear

Buddy Boy and the Bear is the enticing tale of a white spotted dog named Domino. As the playful puppy he is, he makes his way into the hearts and lives of MaMa and her grandchildren, but unfortunately for MaMa, Domino turns out to be more of a challenge than anybody expected. Domino’s destructive nature does not fit the ideal image of the perfect pet.

Children will see through the story of Domino what unconditional love really means, that true love comes in many forms—even discipline, and sometimes that very discipline may save your life one day.
What will Domino do when he comes face to face with a terrifying bear?

Up and coming artist Sara Pessognelli illustrated the story of Buddy Boy when barely 14 years old. Sara loves the art classes she now takes in high school and even takes additional classes at the Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia. Though she enjoys science and math and plans for a chemistry or physics major in college, she continues to enhance her artistic talent and looks forward to illustrating more children’s books in the future.
