In the midst of racial integration in the state of North Carolina, a young white woman, recently graduated from college, is chosen to teach at an all black students’ school. She finds herself quickly thrust into a world completely foreign to her. Though eager to teach she wondered if a clash of cultures has to always be a tragedy.
